Dr. Battaglia received her North Carolina Chiropractic license in 1996 and has been serving Huntersville, NC and the Lake Norman area since 1997. She is a Cum Laude graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. In addition, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Niagara University in Niagara Falls, NY with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
Dr. Battaglia is continually updated with the latest advances in patient care by participating in a wide variety of seminars presented by nationally recognized authorities. She earned a certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) for pediatric and prenatal chiropractic care. Dr. Battaglia is also certified in the Webster Technique to promote ideal fetal positioning for birth.
Did you know that Dr. Battaglia was a syndicated author? Her "Chiropractic Q & A" newspaper column has been published in the Lake Norman Gazette, the Gaston Gazette and A Peak at Summit magazine. Dr. Joyce Battaglia and her husband Dr. John Heggie are residents of Huntersville and have two children, Jack and Rachel.
